Organic Farming

Webb Ranch has been certified organic through CCOF (California Certified Organic Farmers) since 2008.  We are committed to growing nutrient rich, high quality fruits and vegetables for our local community.  Organic farming at Webb Ranch means we never use pesticides or sprays, and the health of our soil is at the center of our practice.  

Soil health is monitored through careful observation and professional soil tests.  We implement the following practices to increase organic matter and plant nutrients, improve soil structure, increase water retention, attract beneficial insects/pollinators, and sequester carbon:

• Drip irrigation for all farm fields
• Cover cropping (winter/spring)
• On-Farm compost application
• Crop rotation

What We Grow

• Bush Berries (Olallieberries, Blackberries, and Marionberries). JUNE-OCTOBER
• Tomatoes (Cherry, Heirloom, and Ace Red). AUGUST-OCTOBER
• Stone Fruit (Peaches, Nectarines, Apricots, Plums, Pluots). JUNE-JULY
• Sweet Corn (BiColor). OCTOBER
• Pumpkins (Variety of colors and sizes). SEPTEMBER-OCTOBER
